AS YOU SING TO THE STARS

As you sing to the stars
to serenade the heaven,
I lay sweetly
upon the crescent moon.
Eyes closed, as I listen
to your ethereal voice.
From your soul
streams out mirthful notes
dancing gracefully into the sky,
inviting me to dance with them.
Oh! Voice so beautiful!
Causing the stars to glow more brilliant;
And the moon, even brighter!
Never seen a night
lovelier than the day,
As you sing to the stars
to serenade the heaven...

i like the personification and metaphors used in the poem, it is a unique style of writing with the words used to express the sentiment of love
