AN INSPIRATIONAL LETTER

Life was a shattered glass
Each broken piece,
A teardrop of the past.
Heartaches and pain
Thought would longer last
Wishing my days
Would end so fast.

But life is still kind...

One lonely day
Never thought I could find
Under my bed, a letter
With writings so fine.
There's not much words
Just a few lines:

"Dear child, do not cry.
When things are hard,
Breath deep, sigh.
Find a place in your heart
And close your eyes.
Let your burdens
Be lifted unto the highest sky.
The good Lord
Is always by your side."

Life has been changed...

Those words I've read,
Indelibly,
Have been in my head.
They're inscribed in my heart
Stopping tears to shed.
No more sadness and sorrow
When a prayer is said.
