Equinoxes and Solstices

Equinoxes and Solstices

A Poem by introvertedlove

Equinoxes and solstices
revolving around the sun.
His gravitational leash upon us
Keeping us just close enough.
A silent savior
No credit for all you provide.
Who knew a star so big
Would feel the need to hide?
You hide behind mountains clouds and continents.
Sometimes even the moon.
And only then do we notice
And hope you'll return soon.
We take you for granted,
All the things you meant.
You never leave us for long though
Just enough time to forget.
