Home?

Home?

A Poem by Nora

Home! Home is where the-

Uncertainty, lies.

Like with all the sweet fruits of fall

They soon worm their way into your dwelling.

Fall, fall, falling.

But oh, oh dear.

An echo of an echo of a shell.

What once was has passed

And with it, sweet drops

Of Valium seep through to

My being -

For I am tired.

A need, no, a want

For a strength which has

Retreated to a place

I know not of.

Air.
Air, is all I ask.

To breathe without

Bitterness.

Feathers were meant for the breeze

But without our mud and sticks,

We may as well be clipped.

An echo of an echo of a shell, lovely words. Has a feel of a caged bird, seeking adventure and freedom, who can only look on and hope, wish.
Beautifully written.

very nice words. Mostly the part which reads " Air is all I ask. To breath without Bitterness."
Keep on the good work flow through your pen.

That is very kind of you to say, thank you. :)
I'll never pretend to know much about poetry, but the style you use and your sense of emotion really drew me in. Your use of punctuation to further your point really added to the experience, and I'm greatly impressed!
