Her breath now shallow, and skin pale blue,
Even time has abandoned, forgotten she fades,
Then the forest parts, the sun pierces through,
Revealing a commoner, with rose and blades,
He cuts the vines, overgrown and thick,
Surrounding her heart, he frees her soul,
Then lowers his lips to hers, now pale and sick,
And kisses her softly, and sweetly, and slow,
Blood red rose brushes now blushing skin,
She awakens with dreamfilled eyes,
And kisses him back, deeply from within,
Her skin now flushed, her heart in joy cries,
As she and her prince, now tangled in fate,
Forever entwined, soul to soul they escape.
