Lost Spirit

Lost Spirit

A Poem by intangible_soul

Don't utter my name.
Don't call to me in my dreams as I sleep.
Leave your wretched, tangled fingers
to twist and gnarl the hair of the dogs you sleep with.

I am more of a nightmare to you
than you will ever be to me,
for I am hate, death, despair, and indecency
far beyond that which has ever visited you
in your withering, blackened thoughts.

Leave me now lost spirit of hell.
It wont be long before your petrified heart
and lying soul is revealed, burned,
then left alone to rot in its lonely, embellished memory.

About
I like to write but cant honestly claim I am a writer. I put things down on the page purely because it is therapeutic for me. I don't know anything about style, or what a good poem or prose consists o.. more..
