I Can't Help You Anymore

I Can't Help You Anymore

A Poem by inspiredpisces

I open the door.
To find you laying at the feet of my door.
Passed out.
Where else would I find you.
Laying helpless.
How am I suppose to help you.
You can barely lift your head.
You come to be like I am your last hope.
You come to me like I'm going to save your weary soul.
I have nothing to give you.
You have taken everything I have.
What more could I give you.
I could give you several jars of all the tears I have cried over the years.
All the tears I have cried from all the pain you caused in my life.
You shattered my dreams you took away my life.
I have no choice but to shut the door and choice to give up on you.
You gave up on yourself.
There is no room for me with you.
