A Street

A Street

A Poem by Devesh

Words away yet worlds away,

runs through nowhere a two-way

street, where souls meet and love complete.

Strange strangers walk that street,

silent sorrow with smiles serene.

They utter no word yet lovingly greet,

as if to ask "Where have you been?"

Eternal they walk, and eternal they will,

an ocean of love, a void they fill.

Someone you know, find you will,

find you will, find you will.

"Words away yet worlds away" - a beautiful and strong introduction to a beautiful and strong piece.
A great and consistent feature of your writing is your ability to make rhyme schemes seem effortless and inconspicuous, paired with a lovely rhythm. Well done, I love this piece.

We pass so many strangers on our path in life, and yet many of us are lonely, longing for company, longing for love, when it's right here, always present, within and around us. Reaching out, however, taking that first step into another's world, it's not the easiest thing for all.. A beautiful craft :)
