I just got done watching a documentary on Evangelical Christians and I penned this one, it's directed at religion as a whole but the last few lines really focus on them.

Ignorance of the existential verities

Has colluded theological parodies

Illumination of iconoclastic immolation

Causes resentment of factual information

Tactile touches of torturous tyrants

Trick tender children sworn to silence

Liquid salvation raining down on hell

Cannot quell the ever growing swell

Myriad furious feeble-minded maniacs

Willing to carry out ideological attacks

 

Author's Note

I may edit this and add more onto it later but as for now, it's staying as a 10 line poem, I can't bear to watch Jesus Camp again to get more fuel for the fire. If you haven't watched it yet I encourage you to because it's some truly horrifying stuff unless you're into the whole convert the world to your 'cult-ish' sect of Christianity type thing.
