Ineffable

Ineffable

A Poem by insanity
"

I wrote this one directly after I wrote Ode to the Lizard King, in keeping with the thought provoking and almost chaotic nature of Jim's poetry this little number was born.

"

Suns of fortune

Meet sons of chance

On the backs of clouds

Lamenting lost leverage

Such minacious madmen

Ideologically inexorable

Riding wicked willow-wisps

To commune with Mother Nature

Sun-drenched shadows

Lie in brackish brown

Pervasively perverse puddles

Upon light's convergence

Ineffable lilliputian creatures

Dance with morning's salutations

On the fiery faces of children

Witnesses to the illuminated tautology

Phantom suns

In vacuum space

Beside particulate matter

Conversing capriciously

Over matters of destitute

Molecular misanthropes

Their geometric incongruities

Perplexing the wicked wraiths

Supernova, universal buffet

A culminating casualty

Of atomic discord

Elemental vagabonds

Cannot quell
Nature's jagged tongue
Venturing a viper's kiss

While white dwarfs shudder

Serendipitously, spheres of rock

Tenuously tethered to each other

Dance with glee 'round the fire

Twisting, turning effortlessly

In celestial synchronicity
Proverbial prostitution parlayed

Into grateful gravitation

Like discordant whimsicalities

Quantum quantification

Of infinitely finite figures

Surreptitiously silent

In modern malevolence

Helping hapless heroes

Vindicate vapid valence

Over decidedly dogmatic cults

Perplexed by papal propaganda

Author's Note

insanity
Just experimenting a little bit here, I'm a bit curious to see what people think since I feel it can take quite a bit of thought at times to figure out what is being metaphorically discussed.

The alliteration in the final stanza was completely intentional to drawn attention to it since it kind of is the central thesis for the entire statement being made here.

That stanza really spoke to me.
The alliteration in the last stanza was well constructed, and well placed.
This is outstanding work.
