Solitaire

A Poem by insanity
"

Love is maddening, comforting...

"

Maniacally moving mountains

Eagerly and effortlessly, with ease

Froth forming on fountains

Beneath the birch trees

Here, hopeless I lie

Staring stone-faced

Into a starry sky
Mind mellifluously misplaced

Jaded by the jewels

In the canvas of night
Tethered there by tools

Hidden from human sight

Nocturnal nemesis

Befuddling my brain

In cacophonous catharses

Innocuous yet ironically inane

The transcendental treasure

Precariously put in place

Piously with pleasure

Into fate's fiery face

Like a lucid lake

All is reflected

For fools forsake

The solitaire selected

Staring at the silent star

Messages met

Come calling from afar

Yearning for you yet

With wistful words unspoken

A monumental love we'd together make

To have my own heart broken

Is a chance I can certainly take

Your last two lines, i can so relate to,
I really enjoyed your outpour of emotion here,
Very well espressed.
