Learning to Fly

Learning to Fly

A Poem by insanity
"

Love without fear can be a magical thing, though few ever truly grasp this.

"

How time flies

Like birds

Into the break of dawn

Their incessant cries

Hollow words

Will soon be gone

As tides come and tides go

We are tossed about

Like toy ships

By the ebb and flow

In and out

My conscious slips

I can see you

In all your radiant beauty

Waiting for the sun

As it comes into view

The darkness begins to flee

All my fears are undone

And in the russet hills

Leaves begin to fall

From the trees of regret

Your touch gives me chills

As we stand tall

In front of a breathtaking sunset

Through the seasons

I cannot change my desire

For you are enigmatic

I have my reasons

My heart is on fire

My nerves begin to panic

As you draw near

My heart leaps

For only you hold the key

I have no fear

Your love keeps

Me flying free

Leaves begin to fall, From the tree of regret....
Nice way to describe the fall into the frightening dimension of love.
You are quite the wordsmith, sir.

Hollow words will soon be gone......
Is this saying that with the advent of a true connection, conversation takes on gravity?
Good stuff, this poem.
