Caught in Between

I am caught in between

Man and machine

A slave to the device

As we splice

Metal to gene

 

It's time to come clean

To end this routine

There's a great price

Caught in between

 

Consequences unforeseen

We are all too keen

To ignore sound advice

Won't it be nice

When we leave the scene

Caught in between
