Solitude

Solitude

A Poem by Raven Lane

I have to isolate myself to keep my peace and solitude.
Too many close minded fools begin to take my happiness and drain me of any hope I had left in mankind.
Some are just so complex, never satisfied, chasing the unattainable.
I want to be surrounded by people who are kind and full of wisdom, aware that life can be simple.
I refuse to waste my life sulking in misery and remaining stationary.
There is an abundance of land to be explored and things to see and experience.
I want to get lost and ride around aimlessly, without a place to be.

These are good aspirations to have. Thinking positively isn't always so easy for some and they leak it onto others. That's not so good.
