SolitudeA Poem by Raven LaneI have to isolate myself to keep my peace and solitude. Too many close minded fools begin to take my happiness and drain me of any hope I had left in mankind. Some are just so complex, never satisfied, chasing the unattainable. I want to be surrounded by people who are kind and full of wisdom, aware that life can be simple. I refuse to waste my life sulking in misery and remaining stationary. There is an abundance of land to be explored and things to see and experience. I want to get lost and ride around aimlessly, without a place to be. © 2015 Raven Lane |
