Nature’s Elegance

Nature’s Elegance

A Poem by MCS
"

I Am Tired Of Winter I Want To Fast Forward To Complaining About How Hot It Is...

"

As winter lingers

I reflect on the garden

Unburdened by snow

As it looks

In spring, following a rain shower

As the sun simmers off water droplets

As it looks

In the summer heat

Bursting with colour

As it looks

In autumn’s fading light

Its colours now muted

As it looks

In winter, buried in snow

Yet I know that the cycle of rebirth is near

Stella, thank you for the visit and sharing your thoughts. I tend to agree she always knows.
So glad it will soon be over! Not that I have anything personal against winter, it’s actually a wonderful season. But seasonal change has its beauty all its own as demonstrated by this excellent poem. My latest may have touched on a sub point of change too. Much enjoyed 🙏🏻🕊

puts me in mind of exploring the countryside as a kid, and coming upon a meadow of countless sunbathed daisies.
