Foolish

Foolish

A Poem by MCS
"

The heart of a fool is in his mouth, but the mouth of a wise man is in his heart. ~ Benjamin Franklin

"

 Mourning simpler times

But we have fallen from grace

Deeper in the mire

Failure to assess worth

Falling into darkness

Quickly running out of time

Setting fires in times of drought

No one cares or notices

That we have fallen into the refuse
