Blackest Night

Blackest Night

A Poem by MCS
"

“Don’t compare your path with anybody else’s. Your path is unique to you.” ~ Ram Dass

"

The chaos consumes me

Avoiding the news isn’t helping

The madness finds me

Taking refuge in the studio isn’t working

The mixed colours are dark and menacing

The brush strokes are violent at times

This mantle of dread has become tiresome

Exhaustion, an unwelcomed companion

When will the darkness lift

I pray this is merely your muse, and not something personal you are struggling with. It delivers quite an impact, accompanied by your brilliant hand, as a poet and painter. Be well my friend.
