How appropriate for me to read this one tonight.
AT noon today our power went back on. It had been out since 2am Monday.
Temps are in single digits....and in our area it is mostly ice...branches breaking off of trees landing on power lines..."Winter isolation" a sure thing.

John, try to keep warm I know its hard. We are at zero or below and last night we had a report death due to the cold however that doesn't move our many levels of government to address the homeless epidemic. Thank you for your visit.

Out here on the Llano Estacado in my little ghost town, "Gouge Eye," Texas... I thrive in isolation... even when the green is gone and everything is its own shade of brown... and in the teens the last two nights. If cold was a person I'd stalk it and shoot it in the head.
