Glistening silence

A fresh snowfall

Awash in purity

speaking of snow ... gonna be in the mid 60s this weekend
so good to see ya out and about again
we have missed your grace and ever uplifting messages
best to ya friend ... was thinkin about our days in the salon
give a "big' HEY! to nacho for me eh?

this short work packed a powerful punch. in three lines we get a very clear picture. but as they say, a picture paints a thousand words. it really felt like i just read a whole novel. i got lost in this scene and characters popped up, there was story, love and loss, beauty and pain. amazing work, and a great testamant to the age old addage 'less is more.'

Frost is always wanting to stop by the woods on a snowy evening, both Jack and Bob. Loving the winter time of year. I enjoyed the read.

Fabian, thank you for your kind words.
like innocent babes...the snow.
fall in purity when they come into this world.
And then the melting, the slush...the ugly happens....
and the scene of life changes for them.
So much said in this haiku.

Wonderful brevity. That first fall of snow is breath taking in its beauty and purity. Your posted image is a perfect match for your chosen words. Lovely.

The litany of your words are as beautiful as the landscape above them. How wonderful they make me feel upon this season of wonder!
