Even tho I loved my 30-yr career as a technical writer & felt blessed by the abundance, I often felt exactly like this, putting words together in mind-numbing uniformity, over & over! Every time I tried to branch out & be a little playful, the corporate thumb squashed me back into conformity. But I'm quite sure my career was much more interesting than millions, who work in REALLY mind-numbing situations, so I'll quite my whining & compliment you on capturing this powerfully, esp the graphic enhancing your words (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I know what you mean no letting down of one’s hair in the corporate world. I’m so looking forward to the day I don’t have to show up in that arena anymore.
Thank you for your kind words and ongoing support; its so appreciated.

we need to get to work outside of the home, to play outside of the home...to see other people...
otherwise, one day just blends into the next....and yes, hard to sleep when we know what is or rather isn't coming the next day.
I am experiencing "the bone crushing boredom"

Keep safe my friend,
