We live in the era of smart phones, smart TVs, smart homes and stupid people.

Human carelessness harming us all

The idea of not thinking before acting

Is appalling to those who have evolved

 

Acting with thought would have helped

But no charging forward like an a*s is the norm

Shouting in the face of reason

 

Screaming out hoax, fake news and such

Suggesting detoxing cocktails of bleach

No wonder the number of dead is shocking

 

For we are fighting a losing battle

What we have on our hands is two pandemics

Stupidity and Coronavirus

I love this! The rampant spread of stupidity is far more daunting, since there's no vaccine. Some get hopeful, now that we have a new prez, a new administration, with some hope of putting together an actual plan for distributing the new vaccines. But we're still working against the stupidity factor. It's hard not to sound condescending (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

What I find daunting is we keep releasing smart devices but they are purchased and used by stupidpeople (yes its now one word) that I find confounding.

I remember when it was necessary to know DOS commands to use a computer. I hated when computers became so "smart" they hijacked what I was trying to do & tried to do it better (& wrong). Artificial intelligence is a funny term. We want machines to be smart so we don't have to think . . . so we can keep acting stupid . . .
