Lots of times we get stuck in roles within a group, such as family. My family always saw me as having Atlas-like strength. I was not allowed to express any weakness or my kin would literally cut me off & say: "oh but you've always been so strong!" It was a burden that I eventually refused to carry (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Yes, yes, yes dear Mary! Your skillfully pyramid-shaped poem and picture so well illustrate the tipping point that we feel ourselves at so often in life, and especially during these trying days...Your symmetry and grace are art, your brevity is wisdom. Thank you for this excellent write my friend!

oh this is good...no matter how strong we are, no matter how much we have gone through and stood tall and tough...eventually...we buckle.
It is like trying to carry so many others' problems as our burden....but we can't hold them up and ourselves for too long, or we grow weary and drop the ball.

Even Atlas can have his limits. Even the strongest can break under heavy weights. Even the toughest can buckle down. A powerful message in a brevity way.
