Many are aware of my abusive childhood, so I have this built-in excuse for not following all the expectations when it comes to memories. I don't have to hold onto any of that junk, even the good junk, which lets me focus on the present moment. Especially as I grow older (63) I see so many friends who live in their memories (sad). I love it when a writer has the courage to write what's true, regardless of the social expectations surrounding things (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

and yes, there are some that we would al rather forget but there is a lesson in each
