A lovely piece of brevity. Although winter can be breathtakingly beautiful, I am not a fan. The dark hours just make me want to hibernate. I long for spring, the season of rebirth.

We're finally getting some seasonal weather here in California. For Thanksgiving day, rain is in the forecast with temps in the mid 50's. It's enough to conjure up old memories of days long gone.
