Autumn, the year’s last, loveliest smile. ~ William Cullen Bryant

Ever so slowly

a leaf flutters to the ground

multicoloured path ahead

I love how your words convey a sense of the dynamic, as if we are moving down a path, both literally & figuratively (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Hello Margie, thank you, you're always so kind with your words.
ordinarily leaves falling denotes the ending of autumn...but in this beautiful haiku...i see this more as a beginning...the leaf hits the ground running...and the path is so varied in life.
wonderful allegory appears to me here.
I am trying to catch that leaf.
