An impenetrable silence

One waits

This may look simple, but it can take nerves of steel. Sometimes in life we need to NOT react to the madness & just wait for the unease to pass. Have to do this all the time! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

the eerie silence...the scary silence...
this poem stays quiet....three foreboding lines...and love the last one that leaves it open to so many possibilities...good or bad...

Jacob, thank you for reading, often one cannot escape the silence.
This one could represent a sense of impending trouble, or could be the period when depression is emerging from the lower depths of the mind. Whatever, the question remains to be resolved. Good luck.
