Gloom

Gloom

A Poem by MCS

Winter has come to stay

chaotic storms

hidden from the sun

Long hiatus

morning or night

light is the same

Colours are gone

not quite depressed

just a lingering gloom

Mary, Your stark, b&w image, ghostlike, chilling, devoid of color, is a negative waiting for development in the Spring. We, like the birds and bees and bears, sleep until then. Excellent write.
