I'm reading Kelly's review . . . last winter felt really cold, even in California where our winters in the last decade have been very balmy. This wimp doesn't even want to THINK about encrusted sidewalks! I'm whining way before it gets down to freezing! *wink! wink!* Your poem makes me shiver! Fondly, Margie

Hello Margie, thank you for the visit, last winter was a killer. We had snow in parts of Ontario today. So its coming again.

It's cold everywhere, even here in California, where you'd least expect it. We've had many nights with lows in the mid thirties, and for California, that's pretty cold. It's scenes like this one that make me think of the homeless and all the strays that are subjected to the frigid temperatures. You've made me shiver, Mary...and there's plenty of winter still to come! Stay warm!
