Brilliant.. absolutely brilliant. The photograph sums up chances to live what life offers. If we choose to look rather than merely see; to smile, to sigh, to wonder and above all, treasure and then PROTECT.
(I'm in the UK, amid fields and trees - natural methane and the scent of roses et al - not far from the sea. I too live in God's country!)

Day in day out, I enjoy more than a bit, promise, hand on heart!
As do I, as do I. It's interesting to see little villages being set up being totally reliant on their own sources of food and natural energy. Becoming one with nature and such. I got the big open Canadian wilderness at my disposal.

So YES! In NYC one does not see much of nature, and I did not travel until recently. Now, in Florida for a time, I am blessed. I can sit and I have trees and all sorts of beauty to grace me. "When one communes with nature" one feels connected with the whole plan...Thank you for this poem.
