Black Postcards

Black Postcards

A Poem by MCS

The age of darkness

has befallen the globe

the forward fight crawls to stopped

and seems to have fallen backwards

fury fills so many, fists and voices rise

we see everything and nothing

seeking firm ground

as nails are hammered

down on people

who expect more

but seem to receive less

You capture a feeling of frustration and futility in this piece describing our rather myopic world MCS.

A very astute observance of events. A powerful delivery...:).....................
