Unfavorable Exposure

Unfavorable Exposure

A Poem by MCS

This earth is rough

so often not

a nice place

too many coarse

soulless bodies

taking up space

unaware and vulgar

unable to appreciate

the sun’s warmth

or the coolness of the moon

their insides colder

than the last ice age

their eyes blackened

by misdeeds and greed

sharing space with

these types

is detrimental

to one’s soul

suddenly the heavy clouds

move in

darkening one’s outlook
