Rankle

Rankle

A Poem by MCS

Late night

mind filled with

good and bad thoughts

Night turns

into day

sleep not to be found

Through lace curtains

sun and moon

share the same sky

Clouds loom

as thoughts swirl

why won’t you go

You left

rejecting us

yet here you are

'Rankle'
MCS,
An uneasy mind is racing about. The soul follows.
Heart pleads why? Why has comfort departed?
Rankle is a fitting title for this poem of a heart
wishing for what was.
i wish you peace and summer beauty!
Blessings,
Kathy
