Waiting for…

Waiting for…

A Poem by MCS

Restlessly vexed

preoccupied with

how long

Living

if called that

mostly standing still

Curious of the view

of a life on hold

wishing hourly

For more minutes

that turn into hours

that become a lifetime

Now with a glance

over the shoulder

a colourless vista

Of time spent

wishing

as life was put on hold

What to do

with the next

tomorrows

Can old patterns

be broken

can old feet move forward

'Waiting for...'
MCS,
The ideas given drive along into a feeling of why and how does one move into another reality when the one known is gone. That is no easy place to be. This felt like a time of challenge and yet the desire to address it and to make a change. I appreciate this honest poem of what feels difficult yet expressing the raw feeling behind the words.
Blessings to you.
