Irrational

In crowds

my first reaction is

I look for you

 

Reality comes

rushing in

causing a misstep

 

You’re gone

the burn

of unshed tears

 

Always the

same question

do the leftover people

 

Do as I do

look and listen

for those they’ve lost

'Irrational'
MCS,
Can we categorize the loss when it comes. Loss is it's own entity. Living surrounded by others and it seems that they are living, and functioning and enjoying life. It is hard to move to a new reality where one is living solo. But evhen even surrounded by friends we still are separate individuals. I feel for you and anyone who has and still remembers the past and it's special person now gone.

As am I my friend, as am I. We have to embrace that change, even though we resist. We cannot fight it, the change is out of our hands. The impossibility of the change seems maddening. I won't lie and say that there is hope in the future, but there is something.
