You'll Never Know

You'll Never Know

A Poem by emma
"

i notice the small things . . . i wonder if you do, too.

"
The smallest of things,
mean the world to me,

but that's something you'll never know.

The brush of our fingers,
a small smile,

makes my happiness overflow.

I can imagine myself holding that hand,
I can see myself kissing that smile,

and it feels like I should've long ago.

You've got a choice,
is it her or me?

oh, please, don't go.

Your gaze connects with mine,
your lips say my name,

and i feel happier than i'll ever show.

You confuse me,
you make me nervous,

but when I'm with you, i can feel my heart grow.

The smallest of things,
mean the world to me,

but that's something you'll never know.

Author's Note

emma
how mushy. but i thought it displayed well what i was feeling, so whatever. for a person who'll never know how much he means to me. (see what i did there? i used the title in a sentence!) anyways, review truthfully, and enjoy:)!
