You'll Never KnowA Poem by emmai notice the small things . . . i wonder if you do, too.
The smallest of things,
mean the world to me, but that's something you'll never know. The brush of our fingers, a small smile, makes my happiness overflow. I can imagine myself holding that hand, I can see myself kissing that smile, and it feels like I should've long ago. You've got a choice, is it her or me? oh, please, don't go. Your gaze connects with mine, your lips say my name, and i feel happier than i'll ever show. You confuse me, you make me nervous, but when I'm with you, i can feel my heart grow. The smallest of things, mean the world to me, but that's something you'll never know.
