![]() eyes dotted and teas crossedA Poem by c. bee![]() 11-14-18![]() he held me with hands soaked in shadows offered me up to his God and as i was deemed too pure for His liking the shadow man trailed a long deep slit down my chest welcoming the darkness in with a beckoning finger my soft spoken body trembled violently in turn tucked in the crook of his inky wings once more he raised me into the beast of a night the cruel wind knotting my hair and laughing in my face there’s such a thing He scolded my captor gently as too dark so he laced my bodice with a careful precision and stained my lips with overripe berries making me up like a child’s doll this time he held me like a trophy and with His approval the breeze softened to a whisper sweeping me along in its gentle current and purring softly in my ear the borogoves bowed clumsily as i cruised past the man in the moon only nodded grimly and i floated on constellations shattering and rearranging to allow the wind and i through and finally i came to rest in His ethereal embrace a cloth woven from starlight tucked in His collar and another laying neatly across His lap He fed with voracity drinking in my naivety and eagerly slurping up my inhibitions a conclusion so cold a God so depraved never in a million mortal years might we have guessed © 2022 c. beeAuthor's Note
