The Maze

The Maze

A Story by InLoveWithACity

Sometimes I feel like during the most turbulent of times, the solution lies within a maze of confusion. We are screaming for a way out, hoping for a map that might provide some sense amidst all of the caos.

I have a friend who despises her job. She dreads going to work everyday and once she gets there the people at her job just pull her down further. She desperately wants out but yet again, the solution to her problem is hidden within a maze of obstacles that seem insurmountable.

I knew another person who's life had drug him so deep withing the maze that he was beginning to feel like the only solution was ending it all. He felt like everytime he had come close to finding the exit life just shoved him back into the center.

My question is, why must every problem we face be so difficult to resolve? Why must the maze include so many turns and dead-ends? Why can't someone provide us a map? Is life simply one confusing maze after another? If so, why? Why must there be this endless search for the exit?
