Mirror mirror

Mirror mirror

A Poem by Anthony Garcia

The mirrors blinking back at me

This matted mess of hopeful reprieve

Must have died before this moment

There's no self loathing staring back at me

A smile, even from the corners of my teeth

I see no more scars, nothing to discard

This must be madness through my opals

Or finding beauty in the vice versa
