kiss kiss

kiss kiss

A Poem by Anthony Garcia

I want to kiss a stranger

To see if I still care

About things like

love and hurt

I want to hold a hand today

To see if I can warm

This bluish skin

That was once rosy red

I’d like to get to know someone

To affirm that I am real

Not some mechanized ghoul

In tender flesh

I’d like to kiss a girl somehow

To see if she’s the one

The last one took me for a ride

And broke my mental bones

I need to hold a stranger now

My heart is hard to hide

I want to love so so bad

But I cant get past my pride

Alicia, thank you so so so much! Thanks for the critisism, and the props. I am posting a lot of old stuff i've written so friends can read it, but this made me really smile to read it =]

This poem is so beautiful! I really loved reading it. The flow isn't perfect, and I'm not sure if I would choose certain words… But other than that, I liked the idea of the poem. Great job!
