A green of all colors

A green of all colors

A Poem by Anthony Garcia

Total control of its natural surroundings

the fresh needles blanket the ground

and the rocks vibrate with the hum of unheard sound

wandering leaves fall on faces and trees

toads and alligators meander the grounds

their feet lay tracks for me to follow

riverbeds covered with cedar snow

the earth is filled with hippies

who all think and act on this concept:

green peace

think green

they hug trees

and they kiss frogs

lick toads for acid trips

they lay in tall grass, shoeless, penniless

green teeth

smoke green thinking green with hemp necklaces

the ivory tower offspring

green with envy
