Return To Sender

Return To Sender

A Poem by Anthony Garcia
"

i havent written anything in well over a year, so please bare with me for my work will be mediocre

"
Tonight all air is stale and cuts congealed
My zest for life is all but peeled
Everything tasteless and spongy
A chef, no longer hungry

Something prove there is a light
A warming reason to even fight
Show me proof and I will stay
To live and die another way

My faith is wearing thin
Overcame by festering sin
Will someone take this hand
To wet these waiting bags of sand

Lost in green and waiting for you
Im a broken painter who's brushing on blue
Show me something a little more tender
Take this heart, or return to sender
