The Cicadas' Song

The Cicadas' Song

A Poem by InkSlinger

Reticense impregnates these deafened ears,

Like a cicadas' song on a warm summer breeze...

Full of life, rhyme and reason,

Abruptly, and deliberately aware..

My silence, my deafening silence

Is silent no more.

I enjoyed the poem. I like the sound of the Cicadas. Sort of a peace is create. I like the ending to the excellent poem.

Beautiful poetic piece to our winged insect friends.

Does the heart of this biologist good to be reminded of natures creatures.
