Forgiveness

Forgiveness

A Poem by InkSlinger

Lay open your propitious soul..

bare witness to grief's penitence

bring forth the suckle of forgiveness

that hope may flourish in the morrow.

I loved this! Small but that seems to make it even better : D

You do bring such a vibrant hope to a world so often covered in sorrows... griefs that make all things stagnant in unforgiveness... May we all learn from this soft song...

A poem for everyman (and woman). Imagine if we each felt this for even an hour a day.

Iove if you were to continue this! Do you think grief pushes us to want higher highs of faith and love as well? You seem to explore grief very well in your work.

A very powerful and needed poem, at the moment the ink flew.
Beautiful.

A touching short piece that reverberates with a feeling of inner peace and hope.

Again, beautifully wriiten. Strong, true, and powerful.
Forgiveness, such a hard ability for most to achieve, and yet there is such a need. A need to erase the abyss of bitterness for those unable to forgive.
You inspire me.

perhaps hope will flourish in the morrow...but then again...maybe not

Well written...we all need to forgive others...if not for their sake, but more for ours....
