A man's undying love from the first moment their eyes met.

From the moment our eyes first touched
Lost in pools of green and blue
In that moment when all else was laid quiet
I had loved you.

Under blacken skies, sheeted in tempered dark
In the still of the undisturbed morning
When all else rests quiet in a peaceful hush
I have loved you.

When slumbered breath rises and falls tranquil
Softly and peacefully unaware in treasured gaze
When love is precious, and without bounds
I have loved you.

In the magic of loves first caress
Surrendered serene under genteel hands
When hearts lay delicately in open adoration
I have loved you.

When lips first touched in tender kiss
Giving breathless thrill to beating hearts
In that moment, when love was left to linger
I have loved you.

When, in gentle pace I took you in my arms
And held you tenderly in sweet embrace
When hearts spoke in impassioned voice
I have loved you.

In the years that have come and gone
From love's first embrace, until it's last
And all of the moments, treasured between
I have loved you.

In those moments of tears, painful, joyful.
Under the weight of life's heavy paced rush
When all hope, fleeting, has failed you...
I will love you.

And when I have lost what is left of you
Betroth to the Lord's beckoning hand
When others forget, and your memory fades.
I will still love you.
