Open heart delivery

Open heart delivery

A Poem by Richard Hoover

The boy stood there shocked and stuttered he then walked off pretending to smile but in reality he was ripping himself apart on the inside. He finally found one that he wanted to always be by his side. But life has a funny way of playing games that hurt you more than anyone else cause for while the boy made the girl giggle and crack smiles but she was dealing with things that where never shared. The boy wanted to cry but really he was just happy she didnt fully say good bye in fact she still makes him smile even today. But she did get him addicted to thought of not being lonely and actually being loved. And when she left she had to take those feelings and it left him a giant bumbling mess on the inside . He tried to chase the feeling of being cared for and never being alone but he moved to on fast and soon got hurt even more and now he feels that the girl who's smile and nose were the whole world to him may never look at him again in a romantic way again but till he knows for sure he'll probably be sitting by her doorstep crying and clawing at her heart begging to be taken back in before his life gets too dark.
