Lost Existence

Lost Existence

A Poem by A. Halter

"Lost Existence."
A. Halter

Methodical fixation on self reflection.
Glance now, check here, make
Eyes locked to discover imperfection.

What is presented is to stand out
be different, like
an individual.

But-
look closely, pay attention,
we are all products of fabrication.

To match,
to fix,
to assimilate into
normalcy.
Watch out!

Hold tight- you might loose
your individuality.
For identity and individuality are
but monitors,
coordinators,
and incorporaters of code;

Nothing but a collection of
unreal acceptions, expectations,
and lost existence
of one's hold.
