"Thou mightest see thy way clear"©A Poem by inkedvocabulary'Tis hard to write in an Olde English style living in modern times as we do. This is but one of those attempts... and one day I hope to get it right.
Whence forced to capitulate to query one might pose...
'ere unpleasant though it be, allow it so by inquiry, lest it go forth and lend to doubt more sound than concerns of uncertainty lie, time to then decry, wail for such change that comes forth, make still thy mind and cause thy peace restored, thou knowest true... see thine heart to lead thee from thy troubles known but to pray toward certainty and let God see thee through, to desires of thy mind and heart, one and the same, comes purposeful and sure as driven snow, known thou winter... guide true and straight to goal undettered and knowest thy hand secures His will or by cross to feel it splinter.
