The Red Ashen Rose

The Red Ashen Rose

A Poem by InkBlack
"

about a friend who recently passed away, and the scene at her funeral.

"

A beautiful girl with flaming red hair lies in the casket

She bled to death from an impaled hand

Her remaining hand holds a red rose against her heart

Languid fog rises around her grave after the burial

Iridescence fails as the congregation walks away in the rain

I'm sorry about Ashli,
I wish I could have gotten to know her,
this poem makes me sad...
but it's well writen,
you described it very well,
(I'm sorry about her death)...
