Until Sunrise

Until Sunrise

A Poem by silver ink

A restless night watching you rest

without a stir, what a selfish rest

the desire of love began to fade

as the moon is rendered powerless

sunrise is certain, my love will awaken

all that was left undone shall not be denied

by sunrise nor time shall it be taken

until sunrise shall i watch for your dreamy eyes

I shall greet you with a kiss at first light

for this very cause am i restless this night

watching you rest, what a selfish rest

what a ahhhhh! self ishh! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
